An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our MMT Care team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigation and revision of reportable incidents, mandatory reporting and data analysis.
Duties include:
- Chair & lead the management of the Quality, Safety & Governance Committees when required
- Contribute to the process for renewing/gaining accreditation/licensing
- Monitor, review, investigate and report client related incidents and restrictive practices through the NDIS Commission portal
- Assist in preparing, planning and facilitating the NDIS Commission external audit cycle including supporting clients and staff to understand the quality requirements and external audit process
- Assist in the development and implementation of a Quality Management system across the state
- Regular data analysis, with a focus on obtaining a proactive approach to compliance
- Development, reviewing and updating of policies and procedures
- Manage reportable incidents and compliance ensuring processes are in line with relevant legislative requirements and organisational values
- Investigation of non-conformances and implementation of corrective actions with the support of management.
The successful candidate will be able to display the following criteria;
- Tertiary qualifications within a Quality Assurance or other relevant area.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards framework
- Working knowledge of and exposure to the NDIS environment including NDIS price guide; claim management; funding and reporting requirements
- Ability to prioritise multiple activities while maintaining a solution focused approach
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written communications skills supporting an ability to produce quality reports and briefs
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to achieve quality outcomes
