If so, then come and volunteer as a director and director/company secretary at the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre Limited (WSCLC).

We are a leading provider of legal and social work services to people in Western Sydney who are experiencing disadvantage. We are committed to improving people's wellbeing by providing them with access to justice and empowering them to navigate the complexity of the legal system. Our Centre is people centric with a real community focus in Western Sydney.

We are seeking two new volunteer board directors who have a strong connection with the Western Sydney community. The appointments will be for 3 year terms and may be renewed. The role carries the typical expectations of an NFP Board member in providing strategic direction (with engagement from the organisation and community) and governance to the organisation.

As a board member you will have a strong understanding of the western Sydney community and be experienced in one or more of the following areas:

  • Governance and Risk
  • Strategic Planning & Business Development
  • Public Relations and Advocacy
  • Company Secretary

More specifically, we are also seeking to appoint the position of Board Secretary.
