About The Role

This job will be unique to any other hospitality roles out there and it would suit someone who is seeking to find meaning and purpose in their work.

We welcome individuals with hospitality expertise, and excellent team and communication skills to join the team at ground zero as the full time venue manager. The right candidate will have held a similar role within the hospitality / events industry and be seeking a long term position. In this role, you will help to:

• Prepare the venue for Day 1 opening
• Provide strategic insights as a member of our management team, with a whole-of-business perspective, proactive approach to growing our business and a consistently positive and growth-oriented mindset
• Be a key player in helping drive and monitor the growth performance from opening date
• Manage the recruitment of the front of house team
• Create and manage front of house rosters
• Mentor and grow the front of house team
• Work with the brewery team to plan the tap rotation
• Work with events team to setup exciting and unique events
• Manage stock on hand
• Work with suppliers to build a brilliant back bar offering
• Liaise with management to meet budgets and KPIs
