Your Opportunity 

Mission Australia Housing (MAH) is an established and progressive, Tier One National Community Housing provider of social and affordable housing and also provides both tenancy and asset management services for a number of third party organisations and private investors.

The Senior Asset Officer will be in charge of managing maintenance requests from tenants and other stakeholders, ensuring tenants receive a proactive and responsive maintenance service and are kept informed on status of works.

You will be utilising your high level interpersonal and professionalism skills to balance multiple team reports, tasks, and priorities to an expert level. Your agility and capacity to pivot between team, clients and projects will be a great asset.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Assist in the development and implementation of asset management plans
• Contribute to the development of strategies for maintaining and improving properties
• Promote an integrated service delivery approach to asset management
• Effectively implement and comply with asset management policies, procedures and systems
• Ensure Asset works comply with Workplace Health & Safety requirements, and environmental requirements
• Provide high quality and responsive customer service ensuring that all clients are treated with respect and supported to manage their properties

• Carrying out a range of asset related projects, supporting the Regional Asset Manager and assisting others as directed.

• Identify client maintenance needs, determine maintenance works priority

Requirements for Success

• Strong customer service experience and stakeholder management
• Experience and ability to identify maintenance issues and triage.
• Experience and ability to understand maintenance and building contracts.
• Administratively disciplined.
• Intermediate excel skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with tenants and within a community.
• Experience working as part of an effective team.
• Experience working with stakeholders and partners.

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people for NSW.
