Your Opportunity

You will be joining Charcoal Lane Restaurant to achieve commercial success for the restaurant and catering business. Assist in meeting (and exceeding) income and profit targets, whilst working in close collaboration with the Program Manager and staff to achieve program outcomes for disadvantaged Indigenous young people.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Motivate and guide trainees and casual staff to work productively
  • Prepare restaurant floor for lunch and dinner service to a high standard
  • Communicate service standards through pre-service briefing with staff
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in delivering on the job training and coaching for all trainees
  • Assist Restaurant Supervisor & Event Coordinator with events and catering
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) system, assisting with maintenance of data
  • Participate in safe work practices in the workplace and use equipment safely

Requirements for Success

  • You will have experience in training and coaching in hospitality
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Experience working and training in a fine dining environment
  • Demonstrated success in increasing food and beverage sales

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
