Mission Australia Housing

Mission Australia Housing provides social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians ensuring they have access to good-quality housing that enables people to participate in their communities.

Your Opportunity

This is a rewarding career opportunity where you will successfully provide general support to all integrated service delivery with a client focus to all housing operations.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Support all tenancy functions as needed across the team, including housing, maintenance and community development. 
• Complete a range of administrative tasks to support MA housing team by adhering to MAH policies and backfilling leave.
• Maintain high quality up-to-date tenant files
• Assist tenants with queries, questions or concerns.
• Review and support KPIs such as arrears, inspections and vacant property processes in line with policy and procedure.
• Triage incoming calls, log maintenance requests through the MAH systems, ensuring accurate data information for service performance and improvement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders and other professionals as required.
• Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support.

Requirements for Success

• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups
• Community housing experience, Real Estate or Community Services experience regarded but not essential
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and conflict management
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities.
• Relevant qualification in social or community services
• Experience with Microsoft Office products for reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers’ Licence, WWCC are essential
• Evidence of COVID19 vaccination essential
