The Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence Practitioner will play a critical role within the Supported and Safe Integrated Tenancy Program at Litchfield Court, a 127-unit social housing complex. This position will support individuals and children experiencing family violence, providing both immediate and long-term assistance. Using the Risk Assessment Management Framework (RAMF), the practitioner will assess risk levels, develop safety plans, and offer essential services such as information sharing, advocacy, referrals, and case coordination to promote safety, stability, and well-being.
In this role, the practitioner may also work with individuals who perpetrate violence, providing opportunities for intervention and support to break the cycle of abuse. Through strong collaboration with partner organisations, the practitioner will ensure that vulnerable individuals and families have access to the resources and support they need to overcome violence and rebuild their lives.
With a significant background in the child, youth & family and/or FDV sectors, you will be confident in your case management and assessment processes. Other requirements include:
