The Sub-Acute short stay ‘step up, step down’ Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) service supports young people (16-25 years) with psychosocial disability transition from an acute hospital setting or to prevent hospital admissions by providing extra support to those entering directly from the community. The service provides personalised one-to-one support, shared supports, workshops and group work based on client’s strengths and goals as identified in their individual recovery plan.
The Service Manager will support the establishment and implementation of the service, followed by the seamless transition to daily operational management. The Service Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality recovery-oriented services to clients, families and carers in line with Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice and organisational values for people with a psychosocial disability.
We are seeking an influential and resilient Service Manager for a permanent fulltime (38 hours per week) opportunity in the Latrobe area. You will be accountable for achievement of service performance, budget targets and managing the service in accordance with approved systems, policies and procedures.
