The Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation (PRR) service is a medium-term residential rehabilitation program designed for people aged between 18-64 years living with severe and enduring psychosocial disability which has impacted their ability to live independently in the community. Funded through a client’s NDIS package, SIL residences are typically staffed 24/7 and offer a peer recovery environment to encourage sharing and connection.
The service works collaboratively with clients providing one-on-one support, shared supports and group activities based on identified strengths and goals to better understand and develop strategies to manage their mental ill health, enhance personal and daily living skills, develop service provider networks, grow social and community connections, strengthen relationships with families and carers, and build confidence and capacity to live safely and independently.
We are seeking an empathic, self-motivated Mental Health Support opportunity to work alongside a caring team on 7 days per week, day roster with sleepover shifts in the Brunswick West area. You will play an integral role providing positive person-centred, recovery-oriented supports to clients to achieve wellbeing goals, develop capacity and life skills, strengthen social connections, enhance support networks and grow confidence to live independently.
