Mind operate Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation services for people with severe and enduring psychosocial disability, these residences are staffed 24/7 and funded through residents’ NDIS packages. Our practice is guided by Mind’s model of recovery oriented practice, SIL model and the Dual Disability framework, services operate in collaboration with the local community with a focus on supporting people to achieve their life goals.
We are seeking two self-motivated, resilient Community Mental Health Practitioners for 12 month fixed term, part time (30 hours per week) opportunities with a strong possibility of permanency, predominately for afternoons 2.30pm until 10.30pm, working on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Chadstone area. You will support our complex needs clients to achieve their recovery goals through one-to-one support, facilitating peer learning workshops and assistance with daily tasks in a shared living arrangement.
