The Early Intervention Psychological Support Response Service (EIPSRS) provides a person-centered approach to recovery which is tailored to meet the needs of people living with mental ill health in the community. EIPSRS provides an individualised, tiered program of recovery support of up to 12 months delivered to clients with the level of engagement determined by their needs, services include individual support, one-on-one outreach services and group work. The services are designed to enhance recovery, achieve wellbeing goals, build capacity and life skills, maintain sustainable housing, improve relationships with families and carers, develop social and community connections, and live safely and independently in the community.
We are seeking an empathetic, self-motivated Community Mental Health Practitioner - Peer Practitioner for a 6 month fixed term with possible extension, part time (30.4 hours per week) opportunity to work in the Northern area. Working from home, you will utilise your lived experience of mental ill health and recovery to deliver assertive person-centred outreach services to clients to achieve their recovery goals, build capacity and living skills, strengthen social and community networks, maintain housing and live independently. As this position requires travel across the regional area a fully maintained company car is provided.
