Mind’s Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service (YRRS) program works to support young people between the ages of 16-21 years to recover from mental illness by providing up to 12 months stay in a supportive therapeutic environment. Focused on a recovery oriented framework, the service offers opportunities to young people for skill development, enhanced social relationships and community access.
We are seeking a self-motivated, empathetic Community Mental Health Practitioner for a permanent, part time (30 hours per week) opportunity to work on a 24/7 rotating in the Aitkenvale/ Townsville area. You will support young people to recover from mental health challenges by developing their life skills as well as deliver person-centred services to clients, families and carers.
