Haven; Home, Safe and Mind Australia have formed a consortium to assist people experiencing homelessness to transition from temporary hotel accommodation into housing as part of the Victorian Government’s From Homelessness to a Home (H2H) program. The H2H initiative is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on homelessness and rough sleeping in Victoria.
We have a fixed term 18 month, full time opportunity for a motivated, passionate Aboriginal Housing & Recovery Coordinator in the H2H program. You will support the local community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with multiple and complex needs to obtain affordable housing, promote health and wellbeing, and work in a holistic way to prevent a return to rough sleeping. As this role requires travel within Geelong and the surrounding area a fully maintained company car is provided.
