Skylight is recruiting a Lived Experience Coach at 0.6 FTE and classified as SCHADS Level 5. The Lived Experience Coach will work across Skylight metropolitan locations. Days and hours to be agreed.
This role supports the implementation and development of lived experience practice, supporting Skylight management to promote continuous improvement and strengthen/guide workforce practices.
Skylight Programs deliver a range of recovery-oriented community mental health services by working alongside people experiencing mental illness, family and friends who care for them, and the broader general South Australian community.
Skylight services are developed with input from participants to ensure responsive, effective services that build on strengths, increase resilience and improve mental health.
The successful applicant will bring demonstrated experience in program development, networking, and working collaboratively with a team to implement innovative approaches. They will also possess a strong understanding of the principles and techniques required to ensure meaningful, power-sharing participation of people with lived experience in co-design, facilitation, policy, and advocacy, with a focus on intersectionality and accessibility.
