About Midsumma

Midsumma is Victoria’s leading LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural organisation, and This full-time or part time, fixed-term role is ideal for someone with strong experience we’re on the lookout for a brilliant organiser and communicator to lead ticketing and presenter services for our 2026 Festival.in event ticketing (especially with platforms like Red61), great stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for supporting inclusive arts events. You'll play a central part in bringing to life one of the country’s most loved cultural festivals.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee ticketing for 220+ festival events across 100+ venues, including comp allocations and split ticketing
• Build and manage ticketed events using Red61, ensuring a smooth user experience
• Liaise with producers and presenters to support event delivery and audience engagement
• Coordinate workshops, digital passes, and data collection from both ticketed and un-ticketed events
• Provide timely sales reports, event reconciliation, and support post-festival evaluation

What you’ll bring:

• Experience managing ticketing systems for large or multi-venue events (Red61 experience highly regarded)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• A collaborative, flexible working style and ability to juggle competing priorities
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting LGBTQIA+ communities
