MIC is currently undergoing significant and necessary structural change to better position itself for future success
MIC is seeking support from HR consultant to manage the complexities associated with workforce transition and assisting with change management. The aim is to find the support to develop and enable improved HR mechanisms will help protect the rights of all employees, support the CEO, and strengthen organisational culture and compliance.
Proposal
The HR expert would work alongside the leadership team but remain available to staff as an independent support point, promoting transparency, fairness, and trust during this period of transition. Key activities would include:
Conflict Resolution & Independent Processes
- Providing staff with access to an independent person or process to raise and resolve conflicts or concerns constructively.
HR Advice & Organisational Development
- Provide advice to CEO or Board on HR matters (ad hoc as required). For example, best practice recruitment, contract mgt, performance mgt or conflict resolution.
- Advise and support the CEO in developing a Workforce Development Plan that aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives
- Conduct an internal review of HR policies/procedures with recommendations for improvements.
Workforce Wellbeing & Organisational Culture
- Provide advice and input to the creation of a workforce wellbeing plan that includes activities to support organisational culture and team building (co-designed with staff).
- Support leadership team to facilitate change discussions with staff (ad hoc as required).
- Provide advice and input to staff wellbeing survey and exit interviews (content & process).
Staff Engagement & Performance Management
- Develop systems and train managers and CEO to conduct surveys & exit interviews, and report on findings
- Provide advice and support to leadership team to review and refresh Performance Management Framework that includes regular supervision, career and professional development components and integration of regular review of PD’s.
