The Youth Support and Advocacy Worker responds to crisis calls and requests after hours and assists young people in Brisbane to access safe and appropriate accommodation. You will develop a multi-coordinated response and build relationship with external stakeholder and young people to achieve positive outcomes and stability for the target group.
This is a fixed term, part time role to 30 June 2021 with the likelihood to extend and offers a minimum of 16.8 hours per week.
This position is part of the BEROS, a program to support young people self-placing in the care of the Department of Child Safety (Brisbane Region) seek safe and appropriate accommodation. The program activities involve assertive outreach, transport and active planned support through joint coordination with Community Living Association (CLA).
