The role is a mix of outreach and clinic work for our population which is primarily the homeless and vulnerable in housing. The main clinic is in South Brisbane and outreach services will be delivered primarily in the greater Brisbane area.

Experience providing therapeutic interventions for addiction/ substance use and mental health is highly desired. Supporting our patients and practitioners are a dedicated team of nurses and reception staff as well as housing/support workers and social workers.

The priority for the contracted period (initially 6 months) will be providing healthcare to those who, due to COVID and their general circumstances are experiencing reduced access to primary care. As a result, this salaried position provides half hour clinic appointments for all patients.

The role is full time or part time (min 20 hours/ week) but will require some flexibility in working arrangements.

The role is paid at an equivalent of $256k per annum (full time) so approximately $130/hr (with the additional benefit that the first $16,000 is FBT free).
