Settlement Services International (SSI Group) is a leading community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential. SSI works with people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, people with disability, and youth and children, to build capacity and enable them to overcome inequality.
SSI’s programs include facilitating employment, multicultural foster care, disability support, out of home care, community engagement, advocacy, influencing government and international affairs and providing leadership within the sector nationally and globally.
Reporting to the Head of Home Care Workforce Program (HCWP), the three Business Relationship Leads will be critical to the implementation and operationalisation of a new business within the aged care sector across multiple locations in NSW/ACT. The program objectives include attracting, training and retaining a large additional workforce of home care workers to support the growing demand for customer access to home care. The purpose of these roles is to engage and work with Home Care Providers (HCP) to broker student placements and broker employment opportunities for training graduates. Together with the HCPs you will develop support initiatives for trainees, assist in retaining trainees and provide sector support, such as establishing communities of practice. You will work collaboratively with other teams responsible for training the trainees.
These are excellent opportunities to excel for those who have strong sales or business development skills ideally in the community, health, allied health or pharmaceutical sector.
Fixed term contracts are offered until August 2024; successful program delivery could see tenure extended. An immediate start is preferred. These roles are based in Parramatta, Bankstown and/or Canberra and flexible working conditions apply.
To be successful in these roles, you must demonstrate:
