About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic AMEP & SEE Officer to support the effective delivery of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) programs. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic contract management, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the AMEP and SEE contract management team
  • Maintain client and subcontractor databases and liaise with the Department of Home Affairs
  • Coordinate administrative systems across internal teams and subcontractors
  • Assist with audit preparation and ensure accurate program information is available online
  • Process tax invoices, purchase orders, and ensure prompt payments
  • Deliver high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience Required

  • Qualifications and/or extensive experience in administrative support, preferably in education
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • High-level computer literacy including Microsoft Office and database management
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently under pressure
  • Understanding of compliance systems and continuous improvement principles
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check required

Desirable

  • Proficiency in AMEP community languages
  • Knowledge of AMEP and SEE programs and ARMS database

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
