The Senior Project Officer, Business Recovery Advisory Services (BRAS) will support the Senior Project Manager to strengthen stakeholder engagement, report on key achievements, develop progress reports and deliver marketing activities to promote the Business Recovery Advisory Service program for the length of the deed executed with the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
He/She/They will help to develop and grow existing partnerships and seek new partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the delivery of the BRAS program.
Business Recovery Advisory Services provides critical support to business operators across regional Victoria impacted by the 2019-20 Victorian bushfires.
The project will be delivered across 16 regions across hub and satellite locations including but not limited to East Gippsland, Wellington Shire and North East Victoria. The project is designed to assist businesses with accessing relevant government funding/relief, developing business continuity plans and develop strategies to rebuild through the regional economic recovery.
The following skills/attributes will be required of the Senior Project Officer:
An experienced, senior level person who is proactive, versatile and dedicated to assist the Senior Project Manager with the program extension until the end of June 2022.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will have strong organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and show initiative. You will be committed to joining a small team and a great workplace culture at MIC while supporting our seven, regional qualified Business Recovery Advisers remotely.
You will be an active and passionate communicator, with excellent communication (verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail) and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and adept in report writing and showcasing the program’s success through reports, case studies and social media content.
Focus areas will be attending stakeholder meetings, stakeholder management, project coordination, report analytics and writing, administration, and marketing.
This role is multidisciplinary, and the successful candidate will need to have excellent project management skills to ensure that projects and campaigns are delivered on time with exceptional results.
The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable with engaging with stakeholders at all levels of government, organisations, as well as external businesses (program participants) and business recovery advisers, many of which have competing interests and requirements.
