Your new team

Orygen Specialist Program (OSP), a program of NorthWest Mental Health (NWMH), provides mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.

NWMH’s Entry Level Program (ELP) aimed at developing early career neuropsychologists / neuropsychology graduates into skilled and experienced mental health clinical roles through a structured and well-supported learning program in a clinical practice environment.

Your new role

Over a course of 2 years, the neuropsychology registrar will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within OSP’s Neurodevelopmental Disorders stream.

At the end of the program, you will:

  • Be ready to apply for endorsement as a neuropsychologist
  • Have a thorough understanding of the broad range of psychiatric presentations, psychological assessments and intervention skills required to work effectively in a public mental health setting

About You

  • AHPRA registered Neuropsychologist
  • Interest in taking part in a Registrar Program and engaging in discipline specific work alongside a structured education, learning, supervision and support program
  • Capacity to develop, implement and evaluate client-centred individual service plans, risk assessments and diagnostic formulations
  • Capacity to provide case management
