Medical Workforce Manager - Recruitment and Contracting

  • Manage the recruitment, appointment, reappointment and credentialing of all Doctors
  • Provide leadership and management for the workforce advisors and team
  • 5 weeks annual leave and monthly ADO

The Medical Workforce and Education Unit is a collaborative team, supporting both the junior and senior medical workforce as well as medical education.

The Recruitment and Contracting workforce team is committed to ensuring all aspects of recruitment, appointment, re-appointment and credentialing are completed accurately, in a timely and effective manner. More broadly there is significant interactions with the other managers within medical workforce and education, heads of unit, finance and our Doctors.

Your new role:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Recruitment and Contracting workforce team to ensure all aspects of recruitment and retention, including contracting, are completed within identified KPIs and within RMH policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that systems and processes related to all aspects of recruitment and contracting are comprehensive and robust, and reflect specialist college requirements and RMH policies, and support change management processes to improve efficiencies within the workforce team.
  • Build relationships with program directors, service directors, unit heads and other support departments to ensure effective delivery of service related to doctors in training.

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You are able to develop, implement and evaluate strategic and operational plans in line with organisational priorities.
