About the Opportunity

Our Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS) team is growing, with proven results delivering high quality services. Be part of a vibrant transdisciplinary team working with children from birth to 7 years who have developmental delay or disability, and their families. Work in a variety of settings where no two days are the same, you set your own schedule. Work under a Trauma Informed Healing Orientated Framework in an organisation that values wellbeing for all. ECIS Team Highlights

Your role:

  • Provide play-based therapeutic services focused on child and family goals delivered universal services for children aged 0-7yrs
  • Utilise skills and knowledge to provide high quality, goal driven, evidence-based, family-centred programs
  • Demonstrate specific competencies in understanding and analysing the ability of the child in relevant development areas
  • Use your discipline specific knowledge to provide consultations and work collaboratively with our other therapists
  • Support in your professional development with time allocated for specialisation in specific areas of interest

Essential:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline
  • Ability to work collaboratively with your team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, to implement effective caseload management strategies
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and its quality frameworks

Screening Criteria

  • National Police check
  • Working with Children check or ability to obtain
  • Valid Victorian Drivers licence
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Professional Registration
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Up to date with COVID-19 Vaccinations or valid medical exemption
