Join Melbourne City Mission’s Early Childhood Intervention Services team to work together with children and their families to make an impact on their lives.

The imminent growth in our Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS), in particular in the West of Melbourne, means that we want more health professionals to join our team as Key Workers to provide the services that children with a disability or developmental delay and their families.
Under a trans-disciplinary key worker model of service delivery, you will provide specialist support and service provision to children and their families, in order to promote development, well-being and community participation.
You will promote and optimise the child’s learning and development to ensure full and active participation in family and community life by considering the possibilities of how all specialities in the ECIS team can do something together to make an impact.
Qualified as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Educational Specialist, you are experienced and knowledgeable in the delivery of services within ECIS for children and their families and typical and atypical childhood development and strategies to facilitate early childhood development in a range of settings. You will also show demonstrated effective case management and time management skills to achieve our service requirements. ECIS work is rewarding and challenging at the same time and your resilience and support to the ECIS team will be important to optimise outcomes for everyone.
