Macular Disease Foundation Australia (MDFA) is a national for purpose organisation. Our purpose is to reduce the impact of macular disease – the leading cause of blindness and severe vision loss in Australia. Macular Disease Foundation’s purpose is to reduce the impact of macular disease through (i) supporting and caring for people living with macular disease; (ii) advocating on behalf of the community to government; (iii) funding research; and (iv) raising community awareness and promoting early detection of the condition.
The Planned Giving Manager is responsible for executing plans to grow and steward the MDFA’s Gifts in Wills (GIW) program, Trusts and Foundations, and build strong relationships with major and mid-tier donors. Working closely with the MDFA Executive team to acquire and nurture key relations, this role is integral to the long-term sustainability of the organisation by securing future bequests and significant current gifts.
The Planned Giving Manager is responsible for managing the administration of realised Estates, from notification to final distribution and stewarding Gift in Will prospects through the bequest pipeline. This role will generate new leads, as well as engage and develop strong relationships with prospective and confirmed planned givers.
This position is part-time (3-4 days a week).
