The Role

As a Client Liaison Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, providing direct support to those affected by NMD across Australia. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you’ll work closely with our team to deliver vital services that make a real difference.

This role is part-time 2-3 days per week negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone support and send relevant information packs to clients with NMD, their families, and carers.
  • Manage incoming inquiries, conduct intake calls, and keep CRM (Salesforce) records updated.
  • Schedule welfare calls, track client interactions, and support NDIS coordination.
  • Send birthday and sympathy cards, connect clients, and arrange for donations or equipment delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the Client Services Manager, recruit clients for events, and contribute to program ideas.
  • Embrace MDA’s CARED values and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high integrity, meet deadlines, and support team goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3-5 years in health, disability, or community sectors.
  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant certifications or experience in health support.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems and adapting to new technologies.
  • Desirable: NDIS knowledge, Salesforce experience, and fluency in other languages.
