Multicultural Australia is a leading Queensland multicultural organisation, providing settlement services for migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum. Multicultural Australia is currently offering an opportunity for a Parents Next Officer to work as part of our Community Development and Engagement team. The role is full-time, ongoing and is based in the Toowoomba & Dalby area.
The Parents Next Officer works to support the Parents Next Advisor in the regional offices providing on the ground support to clients to improve their capabilities in key areas including education, training and employment. A Parents Next Officer works with a diverse group of clients and must be understanding and accommodating to all cultural differences within the community. Successful candidate will be required to have a valid driver’s licence, police check and apply for a Working with Children Blue Card. It is a condition of employment with Multicultural Australia to fulfil all our current and future COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
