The opportunity:

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, a role dedicated to advancing research and evidence synthesis in global adolescent health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evidence Synthesis and Data Analysis: Engage in quantitative data analysis and evidence synthesis in collaboration with countries across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Support research efforts in a global initiative focussing on Indigenous adolescent health. More details here: The Lancet Article.
  • Support / lead with support funding applications to grow research in collaboration with partners across the region and globally.
  • Work within the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) for Driving Global Investment in Adolescent Health, contributing to research and influencing global health policies.

What we need from you:

  • Early-Career Researcher: You are an enthusiastic, early-career postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in evidence synthesis and quantitative data analysis.
  • Global Perspective: You have a keen interest in global health, especially in the context of adolescent health and Indigenous populations.
  • Track Record in Research Leadership and/or Knowledge Translation: The candidate should have experience leading research teams, projects, or initiatives, and ideally, should also have a proven ability to translate research findings into practical applications or influence policy.
