We are seeking a Genomic Research Participant Manager to join our senior leadership within the OurDNA research study team. This critical role will spearhead the development and execution of a robust strategy for the enrolment and recruitment of research participants that will make up the OurDNA research cohort. Reporting to the OurDNA Study Lead, this research position will collaborate closely with senior team members overseeing community engagement and biosample management. The primary objective of this role is to orchestrate all facets related to recruiting the OurDNA research cohorts.
While the role does not encompass direct reports from the outset, as the team is established, this role will evolve to include the mentorship and development of team members, overseeing direct reports, and task delegation. Prospective candidates will ideally be located at the Garvan Institute in Sydney or the MCRI in Melbourne. While CPG champions a remote-first/hybrid work model, we also value office interactions and quarterly face-to-face events. The perfect fit will be someone who flourishes in a virtual workspace and balances remote work with the office.
This position is based in the Centre for Population Genomics (CPG), a joint initiative of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research (Garvan) in Sydney and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) in Melbourne.
