We are expanding our care to all cancers and growing as an organisation. This position is part of our Nursing Program team and plays an integral part in supporting our amazing McGrath Cancer Care Nurses across the country.
This is a non-clinical role overseeing operational and administrative functions to provide day to day support to a portfolio of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses.
Through building strong relationships and engaging key stakeholders, the Program Coordinator coordinates operational activities and provides administrative and advisory support to nurses, to ensure they are well equipped to focus on delivering best practice supportive cancer care nursing aligned with the McGrath Model of Care.
This role is interesting and engaging as the responsibilities are varied, including:
Our ideal candidate has experience working in a people-focused, value-add support or advisory role. This could be in healthcare, practice management, human resources, project management or general business administration.
We are looking for a passionate and organised individual who has strong administrative skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and prioritise workflow to meet operational demands. Critical to success in this role will be the ability to build relationships and interact with key stakeholders along with strong written skills.
An understanding of some or all aspects of working in a healthcare environment would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
