Mates4Mates is proud of our proven track record in making a real difference in the lives of those impacted by their service, and their families. Due to a long term employee taking extended leave, we are looking to fill a 12 month contract in one of our multiple Family Recovery Centres nationally.

As one of three Psychologists in our Townsville team, you will deliver evidence informed treatment strategies to our members to address mental, emotional and behavioural issues. You will deliver these services predominately through one on one sessions to address individual needs, however there will also be scope to deliver couple, family or group therapy.

Additional to your core clinical caseload, you will have the opportunity to develop your external stakeholder health promotion skills by identifying and meeting with relevant local partners. By developing this network, you will strive to ensure our targeted client cohort are engaged and aware of the ongoing support they can receive through our service offerings.

To be successful you will need:

• To be a suitably qualified Psychologist registered to work in Qld
• To be a strong clinician with a proven track record applying multi-modal therapy for positive results across various cohorts
• Have experience in the treatment and management of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
• The ability to work in a team environment, as well as individually, to get the best results for your clients
