Graphic Designer

Join mainly music and assist our organisation internationally as a Graphic Designer.

If you’d like to join an exciting team, in an exciting time from the beginning of October, we’d love to have you apply. You’ll need to have graphic design qualifications and experience, and bring a portfolio of your own work to the appointment. We want our material to continue to be vibrant and stand out. Our need is for brochures, advertisements and fliers, forms and manuals, social media collateral, play prompts, music props, and more. We have a well-known brand and style (documented in a Style Guide) and we love it! However, that’s not the ending point. You’ll need to be comfortable getting to know the style of Aotearoa New Zealand, ensuring you contribute to our organisation embracing the bicultural heritage.

We’re an organisation forever looking around the corner and over the horizon. We love to dream and plan – and get moving! We like our branding to be constant but innovative; stand out with a style that is already ours. In 2020 and 2021, we added two new brands. From time to time, you'll also get to work with a renowned illustrator.

You’ll be encouraged to embrace and engage with your strengths. We’re committed to each staff member growing their strengths and using them, not only at work, but also in the rest of life. Coming on team, you would get to know and contribute to the team culture, enjoy being coached in your top five Clifton Strengths, and learn about our organisation that started with one group more than 30 years ago in New Zealand.

We pray together and are expectant of God to act through our efforts. We drink coffee, laugh often, and chat around the lunch room table. We’re a diverse bunch who value each other. Coincidentally, you’ll need to embrace and work within our Statement of Faith.

You'll work for fifteen hours in total, worked over three days per week, at our Bayswater Support Centre (one of those days needs to be a Tuesday). We can provide some flexibility with work hours, particularly if you have school holiday responsibilities. Your availability would come through mutual negotiation during those times.

What are you waiting for? We’d love to hear from you – please send your CV telling us about your work history, confirming in your covering letter whether you have the right to work in Australia and the date you're available to work from. We’ll talk remuneration at the interview along with a host of other things that you’ll probably want to know before making a decision. Once we’re through the interview process, if we’d like to take your application further, we’ll contact your referees.
