ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will:

  • Provide high quality support services to NDIS participants
  • Support people to make sense of their NDIS plan, navigate the NDIS and the broader service system, and connect people with appropriate services and supports.
  • Provide support through face-to-face appointments and administration
  • Operate from a strength based, person centred, recovery practice model

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years’ experience working with people in a mental health or trauma-informed context OR have a minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, or related qualification.
  • A person-centred, capacity-building approach that empowers individuals and promotes independence.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of recovery-oriented, community-based mental health support.
  • The ability to assess risks and provide support with safety and care at the forefront.
  • A valid Australian Driver’s License and insured roadworthy vehicle.
  • a successful NDIS Worker Screening clearance and working with children check
