We believe a job can change a life and we are driven to help people in financial or social disadvantage. Through employment services, vocational training, labour hire, and other services and programs, we empower people; connect with support; enhance skills and confidence; and provide opportunities to reach the goal of employment.
Are you looking for an exceptionally rewarding position where no two days will be the same? Are you a go-getter who has highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, who demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail and resilience with the ability to engage and influence?
Servicing Swan Hill, Kerang and surrounding areas, you will work closely with our Employment Consultants, local employers and key stakeholders to assess and address the needs of job seekers in the workplace to ensure ongoing work is maintained.
Every day will be different as you create unique and exciting pathways for our participants to progress and achieve their goals. You thrive on the challenge of developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with various stakeholders such as participants, employers, training organisations and various community groups.
No two days look alike, your day could be in an office meeting participants, out on the road visiting employers and other community organisations. Your meetings could be high level in a boardroom or a casual coffee catch up to discuss the next exciting and creative pathway you have in the works.
The role is what you make it, with success measured on your ability to create and grow positive relationships and sustained employment outcomes for our participants.
Whilst no prior industry experience is required, what you do need is the self-motivation and confidence to comfortably work in a variety of situations to create ongoing opportunities for our participants and support our local industries. You must thrive on the challenge of meeting multiple deadlines whilst having the sound administration skills to ensure that compliance requirements are met. Overall you must be driven and excited to consistently hit performance targets whilst always maintaining your focus to build stronger communities through the creation of sustained employment outcomes for our participants.
A drivers licence, police check and working with children check are required on commencement.
MADEC prides itself on providing a supportive environment with opportunities for personal growth and development.
