MacDonnell Regional Council has an exciting opportunity available within the Youth Services department. The Coordinator Projects and Planning - Youth is a newly created position being offered on a temporary, full time basis.

About the role

MacDonnell Regional Council's Youth Services program provides meaningful opportunities for young people in remote communities which contribute to positive life outcomes. The Coordinator Projects and Planning will provide leadership and mentoring to the Youth Services team, facilitating independence and increased local ownership of the services. We are seeking a collaborative problem solver who will work with a diverse range of stakeholders and drive planning, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of Youth Programs. Our ideal candidate will also have previous experience managing financial and physical resources while keeping within budget constraints.

About you

With experience in community development, youth work or project management, you will possess a strong work ethic and teamwork skills. You have an ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, building both internal and external relationships and managing the implementation of youth projects across multiple remote communities. Your ability to work independently to a high standard is a valuable asset.
