Social Media Coordinator

The social media coordinator will work closely alongside the CEO and Fundraising Coordinator to execute and plan consumer fundraising campaigns and communications on behalf of Love Mercy Foundation. You will have primary responsibility for our social media accounts and external communication of the organisation. The role will work closely with the team to create and schedule content social media during and outside of fundraising campaigns. This role will identify trends and insights to optimise spend and inform decision making. This role will ensure best practice fundraising at all times that supports and builds the reputation and brand of LMF.

Key Objectives

  • Build on and execute digital marketing strategy, including managing and building social media presence, engaging followers on platforms.
  • Implement and report on paid digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Maintain and update content on digital platforms with a focus on SEO and brand identity, ensuring that brand identity is at the forefront of all campaigns and content.
  • Assisting team where required with promotion of community fundraising events and setup/pack down.
  • Building brand awareness on social platforms.

  • Experience working in digital marketing with demonstrated skill in paid advertising and social media management.
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector ideal but not essential.
  • Experience developing and managing copy across channels: digital ads, social media.
  • Staying up to date on current social media trends and data.
  • Collaboration and team work are your strengths.
  • Outstanding communication, multitasking and analytical skills.
