We’re a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation with a team of almost 400 people, delivering innovative and accessible support services across Queensland and regional New South Wales.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Client Advocacy Representative, on a casual basis, who will be a member of the Clinical Governance Committee and will represent our clients’ voice.

The successful person will provide feedback, advice and input into the clinical governance of our services, including policy review, focus groups, service review and improvement, participation in clinical audits, and new service development.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Lived experience with alcohol and other drugs and/or mental health issues (preferably through an LLW service).
  • Able to consider, understand and advocate on behalf of client’s needs.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, engagement, analysis and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, and collaboratively with staff from a diverse range of disciplines.
