Part-time role – 18 hours per week

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney (H2HS) is one of over 40 Lifeline centres nationally, providing Australians with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Our strength lies in our community footprint, as we deliver vital programs and outreach initiatives to build local and lasting capacity for suicide prevention through connection, compassion, and hope.

The Training Administration Coordinator is a rewarding role located onsite at Gordon, with flexible working hours, great team culture and a supportive environment. This part-time role will see you providing administrative and coordination support in all activities associated with the onboarding and training of Telephone Crisis Supporters (TCS) with a focus on quality and accuracy. The Lifeline Telephone Crisis Support service is for Help Seekers who benefit from immediate and short-term assistance coping with crisis and distress.

What will you be doing?

  • Provision of coordination and implementation of administrative procedures relating to the recruitment and onboarding activities of potential crisis supporters
  • Monitoring training activities and documenting as required by the Lifeline Australia RTO course
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate training programs
  • Ensuring all relevant information is communicated to applicants and students at all stages of their training
  • Planning activities associated with future courses
  • Maintaining relevant databases as required
  • Support members of the Crisis Support Training Team

About you

  • Ability to plan and prioritise work and effectively handle competing demands with the ability to work independently
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for process optimisation
  • Proficiency working with MS Office and CRM’s

Experience

  • Extensive administration experience and proficient at working with multiple database interfaces

Preferable

  • Experience with working in a training environment
  • Accredited crisis supporter or experience working with volunteers
