WHO ARE WE?

Lighthouse Foundation provides homes and therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse, and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships, and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. For the past 30 years, our proven Model of Care has successfully transformed the lives of over 1,000 young people using a range of evidence-based strategies. We now educate and support Foster Carers in the same way, so that they too can take care of some of Australia’s most vulnerable children.

HOW WILL I HELP?

Building on a long history of diversified fundraising, Lighthouse Foundation seeks to expand its fundraising potential to reach more young people and to advocate for improvements in the level of care provided to traumatised children and young people.

The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for securing and stewarding long term sustainable partnerships for Lighthouse from a range of key networks whilst bringing in new leads to achieve team goals. The work will include pitching, securing corporate partners, roll out of contract deliverables, tailored activations/engagements, and end to end partnership reporting.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, and part of a focused Partnerships portfolio/team, this role will have access to some of Lighthouse’s key relationships, including the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Board/Fundraising Sub Committee Members and Lighthouse’s inspiring Founder and CEO to support high-level engagement and acquisition.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

First and foremost, interpersonal skills are a must, with a level of maturity and understanding needed when working with those who use our services.

From a professional standpoint you will require:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience with new business development and achieving revenue targets
  • Solid experience working in fundraising, new business development and/or corporate partnerships
  • Proven track record in preparing, pitching proposals to senior executives to secure corporate partnerships
  • Demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, maintaining a high-level of detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Ability to think creatively to develop unique and mutually beneficial partnership proposals

Other key skills which would be beneficial:

  • Tertiary Qualification in related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Storytelling is a key part of engaging with our Corporate supporters, so communication skills in this area are highly valued.
  • An ability to manage multiple competing projects and their budgets

  • Current Working with Children check
