About the role

You will be a part of the National Safeguarding Unit supporting and enabling Client Services in providing services. This will include the co-ordination, management and reporting on the use of Restrictive Practices, providing system support, management of data sources, reporting and analysis and contribution to continuous improvement.    

We have two positions available, a permanent full time role and a 12 month full time maximum term contract, location flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Client Services staff to report on the use of Restrictive Practices to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission,
  • Develop and maintain local information systems, such as restrictive practice registers Complete data input, analysis and reporting, compiling information from existing systems, Client Services and other sources
  • Generate statutory reports to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and other regulatory bodies
  • Generate routine and ad hoc data reports
  • Assist in the collation of information to respond to queries and requests from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Use data to identify and report systemic issues that relate to quality and compliance
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of quality and compliance performance indicators
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of corporate information systems
  • Arrange and participate in the placement of documents and files onto the intranet and other systems

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and use of data systems
  • Demonstrated experience in incident management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed legislative timeframes
  • Demonstrated experience working with a range of systems and data bases e.g. Sharepoint, MS Access, CRM
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
  • The ability to work well under pressure and within tight timeframes
  • Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, specifically Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
