About the Role

Working as a Casual Disability Support Worker across our Supported Independent Living setting’s in the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Area, you will play an important role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently and to achieve their individual goals.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, demonstrate a passion for supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients and be flexible in working across a 24/7 roster across various Supported Independent Living locations in the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Area

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with clients daily living (including personal care)
  • Participation in activities of daily living within a Supported Independent Living setting
  • Maintaining and monitoring person-centred plans
  • Following individual support plans and behaviour support plans where required
  • Documentation and progress note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Good communication skills and a passion for supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients.
  • NSW Driver's license 
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster
  • Ability to maintain service user privacy and confidentiality
  • Certificate III in Disability, Community Welfare or similar 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
