We are seeking passionate, energetic and caring support workers who enjoy what they do - improving the lives of their customers.

Own It - How we get the job done

We are providing flexible person centred support to a man who requires complex support provision and compassionate care to maintain his quality of life.

As a support worker in his team you will:

  • Ensure the customer is as comfortable as possible by providing high quality care and coordinating with the team
  • Provide personal care, prepare meals, manual handling and domestic chores
  • Help our customer and his family to engage with suitable services within his local community to meet his needs
  • Administering and managing medication
  • Assist him to meet his individual support plans and personal goals - Ensure he receives the right care at the right time

Make It Matter - What you will bring to make a difference in other's lives

  • Be willing to be available to work a variable roster which includes mornings, afternoons, active nights and weekends
  • Previous experience providing palliative care
  • Experience of supporting people with medication needs
  • Compassion, empathy and the ability to improve the quality of life of another person
  • Versatile communication skills
  • Current drivers license
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate (HLTAID003)
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services or Welfare will be advantageous
