Not for the faint-hearted, this full-time 3-month contract role involves development and redesign of two or perhaps three, intricate WordPress websites running on our own WHM/cPanel server or a Digital Ocean VPS droplet.

The role may be extended or may become ongoing, however initially is to complete a major website overhaul (change of theme, functionality and user experience), data quality improvement (lots of spreadsheet/database work and website import/export) and Salesforce integration (via zaps and plugins).

Please note that this is not a coding job. All the work can be completed via plugins and integrations, however some experience of PHP, JS and CSS would be a distinct advantage for the occasional code snippet required.

In particular we require the following skills:

• Page layout and design using existing theme engines (we are transitioning from Avada/Avada Builder to Buddyboss/Elementor)
• Woocommerce and shop management and data import/export (we use Woocommerce Subscriptions, Memberships, and a range of other Woocomnmerce plugins
• Custom post types and page views/templates - to create ‘directory’ pages with map location, filter and search features using plugins such as Toolset Types and Views
• Developing ‘post from front end' pages using custom post types and forms with Woocommerce integration.
• Online course design and layout (we use Learndash)

Even better if you have:

• Worked with .htaccess, functions.php and have modified child theme page templates
• Experience of Buddypress and understand what the xProfile is
• Exceptional page design and layout skills using blocks, shortcodes and styling
• An understanding of Wordpress structures and protocols and are familiar with the Wordpress ecosystem
• Some experience of online bookkeeping programs (like Myob or Quickbooks) and accounting basics

This is a job for an aspiring or accomplished Wordpress developer/data nerd who is fully available right now.

The work is not difficult but it is exacting - for example, a faulty spreadsheet update import could create a disaster on a live website. You’d be supervised by or reporting to someone experienced in all of the above.
