Lifeline Gippsland provides a critical community service to those in need of crisis support with the 24-hour telephone crisis support line, which along with their other community development and suicide prevention services links Lifeline Gippsland to approximately 23,000 people each year.
The Crisis and Community Services Manager reports directly to the CEO and forms part of the leadership team at Lifeline Gippsland. Managing the day to day operations across both community development programs and crisis services, and leading a team of diversely skilled and experienced professionals, you will also be accountable for the quality, financial performance, strategic planning and sustainability of the programs. The position is based at the Morwell office and is initially offered at 0.8 EFT with the view to converting to a full time position within six months of role commencement.
To be considered for this exciting management opportunity you must possess relevant tertiary qualifications along with demonstrated experience at a management level which includes the management of work teams. Candidates who have management experience in mental health and wellbeing will be highly regarded.
