About the role
The Supporter Services Officer’s primary purpose is to support the Development team with various administrative processes, specifically related to the processing and administering of incoming philanthropic gifts.
- Support financial administration
- Be a competent user of our Salesforce CRM and third-party systems to support the Development Services Manager and Development Officer – Data and Analytics in day-to-day fundraising activities and other administrative support.
- Support the Development Team with thank you and welcome calls for our regular giving program as well as administering our in-memory program. Also donor face to face enquiries, database support and other ad-hoc administrative duties
- Support the Director of Development with ad hoc administrative tasks including but not limited to meeting set up, minute taking, organising catering and other tasks as required.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team with competing demands and a proactive nature
Essential Criteria
- Strong customer service skills and an ability to work in a high paced clinical environment
- Well-developed computer literacy skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Word and intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write well-structured, professional emails to internal and external clients
- Min 2 COVID doses + current seasonal influenza vaccination
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar fundraising database (desirable)
- Understanding and principles of finance and fundraising programs (desirable)
- Experience handling information of a confidential or sensitive nature (desirable)
