Lentil as Anything is a charity that runs four restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney, a food security program encompassing food relief and food rescue, two urban kitchen gardens, a pre-accreditation certificate and a range of training programs. It serves around 1 million meals each year and is supported by over 2000 volunteers.

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic chef that can cook delicious vegan food in bulk at our busy King Street, Newtown location.
This is a great opportunity to join a team of socially responsible change makers who share a passion for providing great vegan food, offering a refreshing and inspiring take on laid back a la carte dining in a busy, colourful and fun environment.
You should have at a minimum Certificate III or IV in commercial cookery or equivalent and at least one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse kitchen team of staff and volunteers that serves 300+ meals a day (500+ pre Covid), plus food relief to local humanitarian enterprises (600 meals a week), so experience cooking in bulk is a must.
You will need to be passionate and driven, unstoppable, committed and up for creating miracles. For this, you will have the full support of the team and freedom to create and develop new recipes.
