Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
The role of Manager Respectful Workplace Support Team is responsible for establishing and leading the pilot of a new Respectful Workplace Support Team to embed Legal Aid NSW as a respectful workplace and to support Legal Aid NSW staff and managers to resolve workplace culture and conflict issues.
This role will lead the Respectful Workplace Support Team to provide advice, guidance and support to staff and managers, facilitate the resolution of culture and conflict issues in the workplace, and reduce the number of issues through training, policies and other proactive measures to drive positive change.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in leading equitable, appropriate, and practical resolution of workplace conflicts and cultural concerns. You have a demonstrated ability to build cooperative partnerships across the organisation, and to foster a culture which supports a sense of belonging and embraces diversity and inclusion.
You are a highly motivated and experienced leader who can establish and guide a new team to encourage positive improvements in the organisation’s culture. You possess superior communication and influencing skills to promote a productive and efficient workforce across Legal Aid NSW, while adapting to the evolving demands of the organisation. You have a deep understanding of identifying and addressing discrimination and its effects.
