About the role

We are seeking Speech Therapy Aides who are enrolled in their final or second last year of your qualifying speech pathology degree (eg. Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology). Opportunities are available Sydney wide and are offered on a casual basis. You will be working in primary schools providing assessment and intervention to school-aged children with communication difficulties. You will be provided with programs, resources and supervision – so you can focus on implementing high quality therapy with children who need our support.

Essential Criteria:

  • Enrolment in your final, or second last year of a qualifying speech pathology degree
  • Willingness to travel to the relevant school, with a current driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A passion for working with children and families, to help our clients reach their full potential
  • Ability to work independently within a provided management plan from a supervising Speech Pathologist
  • Experience working with children in a small group setting (for example on placement; through volunteer work)
  • Working with Children Check & NDIS worker screening check
  • Learning Links is a Covid safe workplace and all staff are required to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus a booster).
