The FMHICHP is a comprehensive mental health and broader health evidence-informed service. This program is required to provide an efficient, high quality and comprehensive service to adult 18 and over on a community corrections order living in Gippsland.

Under the direction of the Mental Health Nurse Coordinator, the Mental Health Nurse will work with a team of psychologist and social workers to develop and support collaborative relationships with GPs and other health/social support services to engage and link clients into relevant services in order to meet their mental health and wellbeing needs.

In this role, you will undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted evidence-based interventions to clients.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Recent experience in a mental health or forensic health setting
